Five Years 02:36
Stand still, I'm coming close I will feel ill, until I know that we can steal a thousand appealing sounds inside three days This room is getting colder I've seen the days get shorter now I know how it is to get hit with the change So what's another five years of blood, sweat and tears? Why would you throw it away to get away from here? So what's another ten souls with gigantic holes Inside the ribcage of everyone that we hold close One miss, I'll feel it until I die This is the mistake of my life One hit, I've never felt so good or felt so high Change in the atmosphere Waiting for you to hear The work, I can't, I'll try again until we pass our prime So what's another five years of blood, sweat and tears? Why would you throw it away to get away from here? So what's another ten souls with gigantic holes Inside the ribcage of everyone that we hold close "Throw it away" But I don't want to

Leaving 03:07
Because everyone goes away for the summer But you don't believe that I'll be back sooner than you heard I don't mean to hurt you I wish you weren't true But now I have to leave you The train's here, I love you Because everyone drifts away from each other But I don't want to be like the others.

I'm A "K" 04:28
It's been too long since I've last held you in my arms It's been too long since I last met all of your friends But who is this? The one who replaced me since I've been gone? But who is this? The one who replaced me after so long So as I sit here I'm left to diagnose How long will cigarette smoke be clogging up your air? With a perennial, what's left but overdose? Because I don't want to choke on the words that I wish I could bare Like when you ask about the life I'm leading And I can't count the doctors that I'm seeing So I'll just lie about the way I'm feeling "Oh, I'm just fine" So get me batteries for flashlights I'm looking for you, and I'm looking for pastimes I'm looking for something that I thought I had I thought that I had it don't tell me that I made it up And who is this? The one who betrayed me after so long? No, who is this? The one who I'm sure hasn't done any wrong. So as I sit here I'm left to diagnose How long will cigarette smoke be clogging up your air? With a perennial, what's left but overdose? Because I don't want to choke on the words that I wish I could bare Like when you ask about the life I'm leading And I can't count the doctors that I'm seeing So I'll just lie about the way I'm feeling "Oh, I'm just fine" We don't talk now, I don't think that you want to see my face. We don't talk now, I don't think that I want to see your face. Oh.

Trustbuster 02:16
The wilderness shakes under his feet A tree he disemboweled like meat The fear to go, not left discreet The wolves howl to his deceit But they are planning their revenge: Destroy the concrete left by men The flowers will bloom once again The trust is lost with the machine A patron of the anarchy He's lost the will, he'll fight no more The wolves will feed upon his corpse Because they have planned out their revenge Destroyed the concrete left by men They're gone forever this is when The flowers will bloom once again

Take Me Home 04:19
Take me home It's been a long night All I want to do Is lay next to you Underneath the moonlight Lightning strikes from inside your voice Where awful things hide underneath the noise That keeps me from sleep and decorates my walls With splattered patterns that echo through the halls As I walk by in the middle of the night To see if a light is shining through your door And more so if I can make it to the stairs Before you become aware of my stare And we'll lay like this 'till the sunrise Keep your voice down I don't want them to hear us right now Once we pass the gate, I'll do it for our sake Straight to the box which beholds the name Of the man that keeps your emotions low Head right through the back door and go Straight through the woods and under the stars Over the mountains we've left so far, So good, we've made it and we won't turn back Cover up the tracks and we'll cut the slack

Green 03:29
Bring out the worst in me, you haven't seen it yet The worst is yet to come I'll hide my face and walk away from all the things that are at stake It's a quarter after three and I believe that I can't sleep Without the confirmation I've been waiting for the ending that we'd fallen for I'll move away, move closer to everything that I used to hate And most often you're just another heart attack waiting to happen With several hours past I've found no ways to ask If bad things come in threes then why can't the good things I left a note on the counter It said that I hadn't found her I've hid my face and walked away from all the things that are at stake I wish I hadn't've shouted But then I wish it was louder The confirmation I'd been waiting for the ending that we'd fallen for I've moved away, moved closer to everything that I used to hate And most often you're just another heart attack waiting to happen With several hours past I've found no ways to ask If bad things come in threes then why can't the good things I've found my face, and I've embraced All of the things that are at stake

Blind from the glow, but what do you know? A disappointment Couldn't let go because although this constant torment was killing me, was killing you I still stayed silent After we slow down we may see that we are dormant Why can't we pretend that love doesn't end? I can't comprehend: "I'm sorry but I tried. You gave up. I'm sick of searching for the answers in my life. I'm fed up." I went with the flow, I trekked through the snow I still got nothing It just goes to show, the more that you know More time's spent suffering Why can't we pretend you're more than a friend? I can't comprehend: "I'm sorry but I tried. You gave up. I'm sick of searching for the answers in my life. I'm fed up." I just want to see you again.

Nosferatu 02:51
Grabbed their coats, they're off to their house The air is stale and it's getting dark out The day was fun but it just couldn't last They've got to run they've got to get home fast As they are walking on, he turns and grabs her arm He stops, and finally says we haven't felt this good since we sixteen years old They should've just been going home They should've just been going home Now that they're out here all alone They will not be going home Hear a noise, there's someone else here They look around, it's too dark to see clear The night was fun but it just couldn't last They've got to run, got to get out of there fast As they are walking on, he turns and grabs her arm He pulls, and then he realizes he won't be seeing her ever again They should've just been going home They should've just been going home Now that they're out here all alone They will not be going home You think you can go home

Standing 03:23
Can't stand anywhere 'cause Anywhere is nowhere where you came from Can't stand anything 'cause Anything reminds you of something that you're plagued from Got nothing to live for but nothing to die for 'cause Everything you can die for you are saved from Got nothing to pray for but nothing to sin for 'cause Anyone you can sin with has been saved from what's made them So when you fall you know you fall for us all When you call you know you're calling it off Can't stand anything 'cause Anything is nothing where you came from Can't stand anywhere 'cause Everywhere reminds you of somewhere where you're plagued from Got nothing to die for but nothing to live for 'cause Everything you can live for you are safe from Got no one to sin with but no one to pray for 'cause Everyone you can pray for has been saved from what's made them So when you fall you know you fall for us all When you call you know you're calling it off So when you fall you know you fall for us all And when you call you know you're calling it off

Don't Speak 03:40
I've been thinking 'bout the words that you've said Tryna figure out what the hell have they meant "Don't speak, cuz I've got something that you might need I've been thinking 'bout a thousand ways that I've been thinking about how I finally found you, how I finally found you" Reached the confessional, scream like an animal, "life's been so abysmal, I feel so abnormal," your voice is so atonal, your words are so emotional, "Why was this abortional I'm sorry that I left you all alone" Now the words are settling in my head And I'm wondering "How the fuck can you live?" Don't speak, I need to say this before you leave Don't Speak.

It was a Saturday night, I was feeling nice and right I saw a pretty lady across the bar, she caught my eye Well I was really nice, real nice and polite I took her to the bathroom, and I made her feel alright And then I felt a tap on my shoulder: Oops. I laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl That's right, I rocked her world, she loves me now I laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl That's right, I rocked her world, she loves me now I laid it on your girl, ohh Went out for a smoke, start laying down the jokes I saw you coming close, I said "Hey man, hey man, let's just be bros" Told you was a nice guy, but then you punched me in between the eyes But hey, I guess that's just what happens when I laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl That's right, I rocked her world, she loves me now I laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl That's right, I rocked her world, she loves me now I laid it on your girl, ohh When we're in the old folks' home I'll tell all our friends About the time, the time, the time that we first met And when I'm in my grave I'll come back to haunt you And remind you 'bout the time that I laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl That's right, I rocked her world, she loves me now I laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl, laid it on your girl That's right, I rocked her world, she loves me now I laid it on your girl, ohh Made her say "ohh!"

about

Swell is our first full album that's totally cool even though it was all recorded in our basement but it still sounds ok!
